Overview
ActionColab operates a calendar synchronisation service available at cal.actioncolab.ca. This policy describes what data that service collects, how it is used, and your rights as a user. ActionColab is based in Canada and all operations are subject to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
To perform calendar synchronisation, the service accesses Google Calendar data on your behalf following your explicit authorisation. This includes:
- Calendar event details (title, description, start/end times, location, recurrence)
- Calendar account identifiers (your Google account email address)
We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, or any other Google service. We do not collect payment information, and we do not use cookies for advertising or analytics.
How we use it
Calendar data is used solely to synchronise events between your connected calendars. Specifically:
- Events are read from source calendars you designate
- Corresponding placeholder events are written to destination calendars you designate
- Sync state (which events have been pushed) is stored in our database to avoid duplicates and to handle deletions correctly
Calendar data is not used for any other purpose. It is not analysed, profiled, sold, or shared with any third party.
Data storage and retention
Event data and account credentials are stored on servers located in Canada. Google OAuth credentials (access and refresh tokens) are encrypted at rest. Data is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all associated calendar data and credentials are permanently removed.
Your rights
You may disconnect any Google Calendar account at any time from within the application, which immediately revokes our access and removes your stored credentials. You may delete your account at any time, which removes all data we hold. To request a copy of your data or ask any privacy-related question, contact us at the address below.

This application uses Google Calendar API services. Use of data obtained via Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
